The 1-Gang Weatherproof In-Use Cover, Horizontal/Vertical, 16-in-1, 3-1/4 in. Deep, Gray product is manufactured in the United States by TAYMAC. This weatherproof plastic in-use cover, with a deep horizontal/vertical configuration, safely covers any electrical outlet in seconds. The patented Multi-Mac features a Universal Fit system, allowing the same product to be used for all types of receptacles.

The cover fits both horizontally and vertically, and is constructed with a durable high-impact polycarbonate material that resists breakage and corrosion. The quick-fit patented keyhole mount enables easy installation, while the base configuration with its patented knock-out technology allows for a custom fit. The Multi-Mac offers numerous configurations, both vertically and horizontally.

The package includes an attached gasket and mounting hardware. The product meets or exceeds OSHA and NEC (article 406.8[b][1]) wet location requirements with the cord plugged into the receptacle. Although the item package is labeled as 3.25" deep, the overall length (or depth) is 3.5", which includes the depth of the base and cover.

This weatherproof cover provides maximum toughness and protection, and is NEMA-rated and cULus-listed for wet and damp locations. The quick-fit keyhole mounting system allows for easy installation, with either horizontal or vertical orientation, in under a minute.
